Apple Jam Labels

In autumn 2016 I decided to try to make homemade apple jam. First time in my life.

I was inspired by a friend who gave me homemade apple jam earlier this year and that jam was sweetened with honey, not sugar. And it was so good! Really, best stuff I have ever tasted. But because I wanna always try something new, I made three different versions. Two of them where sweetened with honey and flavored with ginger or cinnamon and the last one sweetened with sugar and flavored with lemon.

And if you are a graphic designer, what else could you do to your own apple jam than labels! Maybe too much freetime, don’t know, but the designing process was fun and these are those small things in life I enjoy so much.

In the label I wanted to tell what is inside the jar keeping it quite simple at the same time. ”Apple Jam” is the stuff itsel, smaller text tells the flavor and small symbol under it tells is the jam sweetened with a honey or a sugar.

The picture itself is a mockup because it was easier to use than taking photos of real jam jars (even though I like my own jars more).
